Snowmobiling Snow Creek-Roman Nose
A popular snowcatting excursion, the Snow Creek-Roman Nose ride takes sledders from the staging area along lower Snow Creek up to the wide-open country of the high Selkirk Mountains around Roman Nose Lakes – well buried under deep winter snows. The small alpine lakes are nestled in a high cirque with riding challenges (as well as hazards for reckless riders). it’s approximately 16.5 miles up Snow Creek, then another 1.5 to Roman Nose Lakes. Fall Creek and Ruby Creek are other nearby. Note, this area abuts some range of the Selkirk Woodland Caribou closed to riding.
