Coeur d’Alene: From the Ashes: An American Smoked and Fired Foods Adventure

From the Ashes will welcome nationally-recognized Pitmasters from the four corners of the United States as they gather in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to showcase the best of American barbecue.
Using the large, wood-fired custom-built culinary equipment that Settlers Creek is known for in the Pacific Northwest, Pitmasters from New York (via Louisiana), Charleston and San Antonio will feature 2-3 featured primal proteins and specialty side dishes at their individual stations at the event.
Brisket, whole hog, pork butt, ribs, traditional and not-so-traditional side dishes from these Carolina, Louisiana and Texas style pitmasters’ approaches are in the works for this summer celebration! Regional craft beers and wines will be included from regional producers, as well as fun family activities and entertainment throughout the event.
