Sandpoint: Race the Wolf

Schweitzer Mountain Resort hosts a new ultra-running event, Race the Wolf, joining Skyrunning USA’s trail running series this year with three distances: 8k, 25k and 52k. This trail running race series consists of 10 world class events designed to inspire athletes looking to tackle ultra-running challenges in exceptional mountain locations. As part of the SkyRunner USA Series, there is a higher level of adventure and difficulty in the 25K and 52K that requires racers to give their utmost and best effort. The 52K course will have approximately 9200’ of vertical gain built into the course. The course boasts steep climbs, fun single track, and some super-fast two-track. Not to mention the epic views!
