Kroc Center
The 130,000-square-foot Ray and Joan Kroc Center Coeur d’Alene elicits a common response from nearly every first-time visitor: Wow! This huge community center houses an array of education, sports, faith, arts and supportive programs in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to gathering and enrichment. The programs, as well as the building itself, have been designed to stimulate the mind, body and spirit, to provide hope and to transform the life of each and every member of the community. Visitors are welcome.
The center includes a major sports training and recreation center with multi-activity gym, fitness center, jogging track, rock climbing wall and group fitness studios. The aquatics center has a 25 yard x 25 meter competition lap pool and the Cove Pool, a 11,000-square-foot natatorium with water slides, spray features, lazy river and spas.
There is also a chapel and performing arts theatre that seats 400, various smaller event spaces and the on-site Kroc Cafe.
