Lake City Playhouse
The Lake City Playhouse offers professionally rendered theater from community actors. With eight main season shows per year as well as several in-concert productions and other various other events. Their rich offerings range from classics such as Les Miserables and The Glass Menagerie to more contemporary productions such as The Nerd and God of Carnage.
The playhouse is a non-profit community theatre, founded in 1961. The auditorium is a modest 160 seats that see nearly 25,000 patrons per year.
