Marble Creek Trail
A fine day hike or overnight backpack, the Marble Creek Trail No. 261 features fishing opportunities in scenic Marble Creek, remnants of cabins, historical logging sites, and good huckleberry picking when they are in season. There are interesting remnants from logging days of the 1920s. Camping is available at many locations along the route. Fishing in Marble Creek can be good and, when in season, huckleberry picking is very good in several areas. The trail varies from several steep sections to an easy traverse.
Details: 11 miles. More difficult
Directions: From St. Maries follow Highway 50 to Forest Road 321 at Marble Creek. Follow Road 321 past the junction with Forest Road 216 to the trailhead.
